In thermoforming, thermoplastic semi-finished products are formed under the influence of heat with the aid of vacuum and/or compressed air.

In contrast to other forming processes, thermoforming is characterized by the fact that only a one-piece mold is required, making the process highly cost-effective for small and medium-sized series.

  • Sheet size (L x W): 2250 x 1250 mm
  • Forming area (L x W): 2200 x 1250 mm
  • Sheet thickness: 10 mm
  • Drawing depth: pos./neg. 700 mm
  • Materials: thermoplastics (e.g.: PP, ABS, PMMA, PS, PA, PC)
  • Patented quick clamping system allows positioning of the forming tool within a tolerance range of +/- 0.05 mm/m
  • Patented tempering in the clamping frame to reduce temperature difference between mold and clamping frame and to avoid stresses in the part at high forming degrees
